Fear Free vet visits! From cautious to comfortable and confident!

Did you know one of the top reasons people do not take their pets to the vet is that the animal is terrified of going?  When pets are traumatized it does not assist diagnosis, treatment and healing!  Did you know that your pet can be much more comfortable with veterinary attention through training and through trainers and veterinary staff working with the owner to help the pet? Your pet can even be trained to actively participate the same way progressive sanctuaries teach the sanctuary animals (like bears and large cats) to offer a foot for nail or hoof trimming.    The “Fear Free” initiative was founded by “America’s Veterinarian,” Dr. Marty Becker, and has become one of the single most transformative initiatives in the history of companion animal practice. Today, more than 52,000 veterinary and pet professionals have committed to becoming Fear Free Certified®. There are certifications for veterinary professionals, trainers and shelter workers.

If your pet is uncomfortable at the vets or groomers or with having treatments like nail trimming, ear washing etc, we have a course for you and your pet! To learn more contact Certified Fear Free trainer Jane Bowers.

Course dates TBA!
